Former Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja hit on Shoaib AkhtarAfter his comments on the star batsman Babar Azam, During a recent appearance on a local news channel, Akhtar criticized Babar’s communication saying that the Pakistan captain cannot speak English properly. The 47-year-old faced a lot of flak for his comments on Babar as well as the former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal, Raja called Akhtar a “superstar of confusion”, adding that it is more important to be a human being first than a brand.

“Shoaib Akhtar is a delusional superstar. He also had an issue with Kamran Akmal recently. He wants everyone to be a brand, but it is more important to be a human being first. Be a human being first and then a brand.Our former players are degrading our cricket brand by making misleading statements.You will never see this in our neighboring country.You will never see Sunil Gavaskar Criticism Rahul Dravid, This happens only in Pakistan, where former players don’t let others do their job in a professional manner.” Rameez said on Bol News.

When asked about Akhtar’s aspiration to become the PCB chairman, Raja said the former fast bowler needs to complete his degree first.

“To be eligible to chair the PCB, he needs to first obtain a bachelor’s degree,” Rameez said.

Akhtar, who made his Pakistan debut in 1997, played only 46 Tests, 163 ODIs and 15 T20Is. His career was marred by injuries.

He retired from international cricket after the 2011 World Cup. After retirement, he started his YouTube career by starting his channel where he gives unfiltered reviews on various cricket related topics.
