Madhya Pradesh Sidhi Accident Many Killed As Truck Hits Three Buses Parked On Roadside Carrying People From Amit Shah Rally

Madhya Pradesh Direct Accident: A painful road accident took place on Friday (February 24) in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. A speeding truck rammed three buses from behind. News agency ANI told from Rewa police that 8 people died and 50 people were injured in the accident, out of which the condition of 15-20 people is said to be critical. According to reports, people returning from Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally were boarding the buses. At the time of the accident, the buses were rattled on the side of the road. It is being told that the accident happened due to bursting of the truck’s tyre.

CM Shivraj and state BJP president claimed

According to news agency PTI, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Home Dr. Rajesh Rajoura told that the injured are being sent to Rewa Medical College Hospital. Rajoura said that the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police, including top officials of Sikka and Rewa districts, have reached the sites and the passengers of both the buses have been evacuated. Officials said that Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state BJP president Vishnu Dutt Sharma also visited Satna to take stock of the claim.

Home Minister Shah expressed grief

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed grief over the accident. He tweeted, “The road accident in Sidhi (MP) is very sad. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives in this accident. May God give them the strength to bear this sorrow. The injured are being selected for treatment by the administration. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
